SCSI is electrically similar to parallel and is dangerous to hot
plug/unplug.

BNC should be safe.

Audio and video would be safe if the RCA phono plug was properly
designed, with the signal breaking contact before the ground. But as the
ground gets disconnected before the signal, it is best not to hot plug
if you can avoid it.

S-Video should be safe.
